Mike Jamison is the President of Jamison Search International and specializes in recruiting executive and senior-level professionals within the banking, fintech, and financial services industries. With more than two decades of executive search experience and over 16 years of prior leadership in the banking and healthcare sectors, Mike brings a unique perspective to helping financial institutions identify exceptional talent.
Throughout his career, Mike has partnered with national banks, regional banks, community banks, credit unions, industrial banks, and financial services organizations throughout the Mountain West. His deep understanding of the banking industry, combined with decades of trusted relationships, enables him to identify and engage high-performing professionals—many of whom are not actively pursuing new opportunities.
Mike recruits across virtually every functional area of banking, including commercial and consumer lending, credit administration, compliance, audit, finance, operations, treasury management, risk management, wealth management, and executive leadership.
Known for his consultative approach, Mike serves as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates. He believes successful recruiting is built on understanding each organization’s culture, strategic objectives, and long-term talent needs while helping professionals make career decisions that positively shape their futures.
Before founding Jamison Search International, Mike spent more than 16 years working in the banking and healthcare industries. He earned an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Brigham Young University.
Mike has been recognized throughout his career for outstanding recruiting performance, including being named a 10-time Pacesetter Award recipient and a four-time Top Three Regional Billing Manager of the Year.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys fishing, hunting, basketball, running, cycling, and other sports. He and his wife live in Riverton, Utah, and are the proud parents of five sons.
