John York

Chief Technology Officer

John York is the Chief Technology Officer with Jamison Search International. He manages the sector of the business that focuses in the High Technology Industry. Working with companies in both hardware and software development and manufacturing, medical, communication, and distribution, John’s specialty is sourcing the highest caliber of candidates for both contract and permanent assignments in the technical arenas.

John has been recruiting top talent for 20 years from individual contributors up to senior executives. Having grown two companies from infancy to profitability he knows what it takes to identify, attract and retain top talent in a timely manner. John understands the technical market and with his years of experience, has the ability to network with some of the biggest businesses in the industry. He has dedicated years to refining his techniques as a staffing consultant and has placed with both domestic and international companies such as IBM, HP, Novell, Intel, Plantronix, Cisco Systems, Boeing, Mattel, Microsoft etc. His goal is to establish long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with successful companies and become their partner in assuring future growth and profitability by bringing them the best talent available in a timely manner.

John studied business management and law at Brigham Young University. He is fluent in Italian and is a native of California. He now lives in Orem, Utah with his wife and 4 children. He loves anything that takes him into the mountains or elevates his heart rate.
